This is the only award in Japan, which production companies judge in their own views. Their producers and directors select the superior works in order to improve the status of production companies in society and give every staff who work for production company a motivation to be enthusiastic about their work.
There are four section, as Drama, Documentary, Information Program and Variety. There are about 100 entries and the Grand Prize, Award for Excellence and Award for Outstanding Achievement are chosen in it every year.
