Thanks to all of your great support and cooperation, “Japan International Contents Festival (CoFesta)” will be held for the second time in this fall. CoFesta was held for the first time last fall under the idea that it makes multiplier effect that a lot of events and markets for various contents are held at fixed period of time in fixed area. Japanese contents including game, animation, manga and character, broadcasting, music and film are the highest level in the world. Those contents are linked each other, and cooperate with media technology industry supporting our distribution and communication. Also it is our purpose to announce superior Japanese contents to the world from many other angles.
Last year's CoFesta became the worlds' largest and the first comprehensive contents festival composed of 18 official events and 11 partner events. About eight hundred thousand people took part in the festival. And we was able to get high evaluation from each place concerned with.
And in Asian countries including Hongkong, comprehensive festivals are planned and held one after another, we play role as a leader.
This year we are free from field of contents, and strengthen
relation side by side to promote to make more multiplier effect, at the same time we improve our ability to give information to foreign countries.
And we provide opportunity for exchanging culture with foreign countries and interchanging of the talent. We expect this CoFesta will produce new creation industry.
In future we will hold this festival every year, we will do our best to make this festival more meaningful and recognized worldwide.
