“International Drama Festival in TOKYO” introduces dramas which are marketability for overseas distribution. They are selected from the international and domestic dramas. Especially Japanese dramas will be recognized “Tokyo Drama Awards” as “This is a drama I would like to show to the world”. We have many attractive and interesting dramas. Event Overview 1)“Tokyo Drama Awards”
The “Tokyo Drama Award” was established last year as based on ”marketability” and “commercial potential” for overseas distribution of Japanese contents. This year, an excellent drama from local productions will be selected and recognized the award.
2)Exhibiting at the international and domestic TV Contents Trade Fairs
In order to receive more publicity and support of developing Japanese broadcasters internationally, we exhibit at “TV Contents Trade Fairs” internationally and domestically.
3)“Tokyo Drama Awards” Ceremony, Party, Screening and Symposium
We are going to hold “Tokyo Drama Awards” Ceremony, Party, Screening of oversea dramas and Symposium about promoting Japanese contents to the world.
4)Website development
The nominated dramas for “Tokyo Drama Award” are shown at our website and also there is a “vote system” for the general public. In addition, a “Drama Blog” was established and is updated with current drama issues and trends.
