Event Overview Runway shows that present 2010 s/s season collections to buyers and press with 56 particpating brands including JFW Designers' exhibition held at the same time. Young designers from Austria and Denmark are participating this time as a group.
It is the first JFW since the structure change and three main programs are being planned. 1)An opening event with an opening show held mainly will be organized by avex after the JFW reception party. 2)Cooperating with “VOGUE” and publishing a seprate issue “VOGUE TOKYO”on the 28th of September. 3)A general public participating party called “Happy Together Meets House Nation” will be held on Friday 23rd, October collaborating with 7 select shops .
Capturing “fashion” in a expanded sense, other events are held near the venue to accerelate JFW . Ex. 1)Selling special Japanese-style confectionery made by a collaboration of old established Japanese-style confection store and JFW participating brands. 2)Provision of their space as a press-buyer-lounge by yao_ESTAbLISH etc.
