JAPAN INTERNATIONAL CONTENTS FESTIVAL 2009(CoFesta), the world’s largest contents festival will be held from the 24th of September to the 28th of October, a period of 35 days. During this period, 18 official events will be held.
Previously, we informed you about Dramatic 3 Hours, CoFesta Private School 2009 and Tadahisa Fujimura Meeting in ASAKUSA, which are some of the original events that will be held. We now inform you about an additional event, the Asia Contents Business Summit 2009.
As one of CoFesta’s original events, Japan’s ministry of economy, trade and industry plans to hold Asia Contents Business Summit, a gathering of key players in the contents industry and related government officials from various countries in Asia. The purpose of this event is to build trust among members so as to be able to in future develop a market for Asian contents that transcends national boundaries.
This will be the first of such summits, where we are honored to have the attendance of contents industry representatives from various countries from the Asia region for presentations and discussions for the purpose of strengthening their business network. The outcome will be compiled in an Asian Contents Business Community Manifesto.
To build mechanisms that enable smooth exchange of information and other collaborative activities, it is important to understand the market characteristics and business operational differences among various Asian countries.
